Three people have been arrested and bailed following an alleged armed robbery at Tesco’s Collingham store.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said two suspects entered the Leeds Road convenience store at 9pm on Saturday November 23.
“One man, carrying a knife, threatened a member of staff,” said the police spokesman.
“A member of staff was punched on the arm and then pushed and the suspects then left after taking cash from the till.”
He added that two men, who had entered the store, then left on foot with a woman who had allegedly been waiting outside.
He said a 36-year-old man, 16-year-old male, and a 31-year-old woman, have been arrested and released on bail pending police enquiries.
