St Edward’s Roman Catholic Church: services for the coming week are as follows: Saturday, September 28 6pm vigil mass, Sunday, September 29 10am, Monday, September 30 to Friday, October 4 9.30am (10am on Thursday).
Clifford Methodist Church: on Sunday, September 29, there will be a service at 10.30am. There will also be an open house coffee morning in the Methodist schoolroom on Tuesday, October 1, from 10–11.30am. All welcome. Meanwhile, the church now has its own website, which is worth visiting, and can be found at http://www.cliffordmc.org.uk.
St Luke’s Church: there will be a holy communion service on Sunday, September 29 at 11am.
Concert: the Barlby Foot-tappers Band will present a concert on Friday, October 25 in the village hall, starting at 7pm. Tickets are £8, and available from Brian on 01937 843422. Money raised will go towards the B4G church development fund.
Live Music at the Albion: bands from throughout the country will be performing live at the Albion throughout the year, normally on a Saturday evening. Meanwhile, folk evenings take place once a month on a Wednesday. These take place on the third Wednesday of each month. The next folk evening will, therefore, take place on Wednesday, October 16. Clifford AFC: bingo is now a regular event, normally on the second Tuesday of every month, starting at 7.30pm in the village hall. Entrance fee of £3 includes raffle ticket. The next bingo is in October.
