St Edward’s Roman Catholic Church: services for the coming week are as follows Saturday, December 15 6pm vigil mass, Sunday, December 16 10am, Monday, December 17 to Friday, December 21 9.30am (10am on Thursday).
Clifford Methodist Church: on Sunday, December 16 there will be a service at 10.30am. There will also be an Open House coffee morning in the Methodist schoolroom on Tuesday, December 18 from 10–11.30am. All welcome. Meanwhile, the church now has its own website, which is worth visiting, and can be found at http://www.cliffordmc.org.uk.
St Luke’s Church: there will be a holy communion service on Sunday December 16 at 11am.
Carols Around the Tree: this fun, and traditional event will take place on Thursday, December 20, beside the tree next to the War Memorial, starting at 7.30pm. The singing will be lead by Father Ingwell.
Clifford Parish Council: the next meeting will be on Wednesday, December 19, at 7.30, in the village hall. All welcome.
Live Music at the Albion: bands from throughout the country will be performing live at the Albion throughout the year, normally on a Saturday evening. Meanwhile, folk evenings take place once a month on a Wednesday. The next folk evening will take place on Wednesday, January 2. Clifford AFC: bingo is now a regular event, normally on the second Tuesday of every month, starting at 7.30pm. Entrance fee of £3 includes raffle ticket. The next bingo is in January.
