St Edward’s Roman Catholic Church: services for the coming week are as follows: Saturday, November 9 6pm vigil mass, Sunday, November 10 10am, Monday, November 11 to Friday, November 15 9.30am (10am on Thursday).
Clifford Methodist Church: on Sunday, November 10, there will be a service at 10.30am. There will also be an open house coffee morning in the Methodist schoolroom on Tuesday, November 12, from 10–11.30am. All welcome. Meanwhile, the church now has its own website, which is worth visiting, and can be found at http://www.cliffordmc.org.uk.
St Luke’s Church: there will be a holy communion service on Sunday November 10, at 11am.
Remembrance: on Sunday, November 10, there will be a short service at the war memorial, starting at 10.45am, in memory of those who have died in conflict. This may affect the times of the services listed above.
Live Music at the Albion: bands from throughout the country will be performing live at the Albion throughout the year, normally on a Saturday evening. Meanwhile, folk evenings take place once a month on a Wednesday. These take place on the third Wednesday of each month. The next folk evening will, therefore, take place on Wednesday, November 20. Clifford AFC: bingo is now a regular event, normally on the second Tuesday of every month, starting at 7.30pm in the village hall. Entrance fee of £3 includes raffle ticket. The next bingo is in November.
