A Wetherby restaurant has raised more than £4,000 for Martin House Children’s Hospice.
Sant Angelo’s Restaurant in Wetherby has raised a total of £4,696 for the Clifford-based hospice which looks after children with life-limiting illnesses.
The money raised is in memory of two children, Sadie Rose and Jamie Ingliss.
Parents and children enjoyed a range of activities which include an ice cream parlour, a magician, balloon maker, a Punch and Judy show and a tombola stand on May 12.
Catherine Del Buono, of Wetherby’s Sant Angelo’s said: “We would like to thank all the local businesses in Wetherby and surrounding areas for their support and for the continuation of providing raffle
prizes for us to be able to raise more money for the charity.”
Every Thursday night live music tribute dinner shows and a raffle will be held to raise money for the charity at Sant Angelo’s.
