The first ever Bardsey beer festival, sponsored by Morrison’s Ultility Services was a great success with £5000 made towards the Village Hall Fund.
Around 500 pint lovers attended the event and enjoyed a selection of 26 beers from around the country as well as fantastic music from Happy Red Tractor and This way up.
The money made will go towards the Bardsey Village Hall Fund and the committee members are thrilled that such a big amount has been contributed towards their £70K target.
Organiser Martin Ward said; “The first ever Bardsey Beer Festival was a great success and we are delighted with the amount of money that we have raised.
“We are continuing to receive great feedback from local residents who said it was a brilliant opportunity to meet their neighbours and enjoy an event atmosphere in their own community.
“We would like to thank everyone that attended on the day as well as all of the sponsors, who without, the day wouldn’t have been possible.
“Let’s raise our glasses to an even bigger and better festival next year.”
