Staff from the Wetherby branch of the Yorkshire Building Society will be putting their best feet forward around the town’s racecourse on Sunday September 22 to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.
And, along with colleagues from the six newest branches, they will then move on to Malton, Ripon, Bingley, Ilkley and Pudsey to complete a pedometer challenge around landmarks.
They are asking customers to guess the number of steps it will take them to complete the walks in exchange for a donation.
Kerry Shaw, manager of the Society’s Wetherby branch said: “I hope we can gather lots of support and raise a great total for this very important charity.”
To sponsor the team for their pedometer challenge call into the Yorkshire Building Society’s Wetherby branch and speak to a member of the team.
