Church Bazaar: the Bramham Church bazaar will be held on Saturday, November 24 at 2pm. If you would like to run a stall contact Mavis Wilson on 01937 842321. Please note this date which is different to the one in the parish news!

Bramham in Bloom: everyone was pleased to find out that the Bramham In Bloom team and the village have been awarded a Silver Gilt in this years Yorkshire in Bloom competition. The full report can be found on the Yorkshire in Bloom website.

Bramham in Bloom AGM: will be held on Tuesday, October 23 at 7.30pm in the village hall. The meeting is open to everyone and not just the committee members. Come along and find out more about what the group does and what is planned for the coming year.

NSPCC: Bramham NSPCC are holding a celidh evening in Bramham Village Hall on Saturday, November 10 at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £20 and include a two course supper. Tickets available from Margaret on 01937 844688.

Beer Festival 2012: the village hall committee would like to thank all those who helped to make the 2012 Beer Festival another success. There were 20 Yorkshire Ales and two West Country ciders plus lager, wine and soft drinks, not to mention the pie and peas. The sun shone, the drinks flowed, the music was good, the food was tasty and everyone enjoyed the day.

Roy Orbison Tribute night: another first for the village hall and a great night was had by all. Despite lots of publicity fewer than 100 people attended including some from as far afield as Sheffield.

Bramham Panto: this years panto is Aladdin and will be held at the village hall from December 5 to 8 including a Saturday matinee. Ticket prices are £6 to £8. Enquiries to 07747778536.

All Saints Church: the churchyard occupies the focal point of the village and the church is at its centre. Recently much voluntary effort has been spent in cutting the grass and maintaining this beautiful Saxon churchyard. In the process much has been discovered and fascinating historical information bought to light. There is now a churchyard trail with much more detail now added. On Saturday, October 13 there is an invitation to join the church group for coffee and soft drinks in church. There will be the opportunity to explore the churchyard with guides and to meet the volunteers who have worked so well to maintain this gem. Please feel free to drop in from 10am.

Drighlington Brass Band: Bramham Park plays host to the annual visit by the Drighlington Brass Band on Wednesday, December 19. Tickets are £20 from Peggy Kitchen on 01937 843378. Proceeds in aid of church funds. Be quick as ticket numbers are limited and usually sell out very quickly.
