TABS CC: are delighted to announce that Spa Travel based in Boston Spa have kindly agreed to sponsor TABS Tykes. TABS Tykes comprises a group of over 20 of our youngest cricketers (aged four - seven) who learn the basics of cricket through a series of structured coaching activities and games. TABS Tykes meet on a Wednesday night at The TABS Oval from 6.00 p.m. until 7.00 p.m. during the summer months, led by coach Neil Brooks and his team. The development of young cricket players is very important to all at TABS CC and the success of our junior players is based around the early development of key skills together with encouraging a love of the game and respect for its disciplines. Already this season TABS players at under 11,13, and 15 age groups have represented West Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, Leeds Schools and Yorkshire. TABS CC chairman Jim Riley commented “We are thrilled that Spa Travel have agreed to support TABS Tykes.
