Boston Spa and Tadcaster Roundtable Santa on Tour 2012: as in previous years Boston Spa and Tadcaster Roundtable are helping Santa out by taking him and his sleigh on a pre Christmas tour around the local villages over the next couple of weeks stopping off in Boston Spa on Saturday, December 15 and Sunday, December 16 between 4-8pm, and whilst Santa will be checking if all the children have been good little children over the past year and what they are hoping to receive for Christmas, Roundtable members will be shaking collection tins raising money which goes to help the group support causes within the local area. Last year over £5000 was collected alongside Santa’s tour which has funded an annual Christmas dinner for 70 older people, Diamond Jubilee celebrations in Boston Spa and cub scouts in both Boston Spa and Clifford. Santa’s pre Christmas tour is just one of a whole range of activities which Boston Spa and Tadcaster Roundtable do throughout the year and if you would be interested in getting involved with like minded people, please visit www.bostonsparoundtable.org or contact the chairman, Nick Fawcett on 07939 893559.
