Lunchtime Concerts at Boston Spa Methodist Church: Starting at 1pm, for about 40 to 60 minutes. Light lunches (soup, sandwiches and cake) are served from noon in the Wesley Room. The next concert is on Friday, March 11. Beverley and Anna (formerly of the Alton Singers) both classically trained singers, will sing classical arias, folk ballads and songs from the musicals. St Marys’ Church: the services for this Sunday, March 6 are as follows 8am Group Holy Communion, 9.30am All Age Worship and 6pm Night Prayer.

St Mary’s Social Group: Invite you to a traditional sunday roast lunch (vegetarian alternatives are available) on Sunday, March 6 at St Mary’s, everyone to be seated by 1pm, There are no bar facilities so you will need to bring your own drinks. (Glasses and tap water are provided) Tickets cost £5 each for adults and £2.50 each for children. Places are limited so early booking is advisable. Jazz in the Spa: Boston Spa village hall, Saturday, March 5 - Millennium Jazz Band – making its annual appearance is this acclaimed traditional jazz band from the Midlands. Led by clarinet player Matt Palmer, the band includes former members of the Eagle Jazz Band plus some younger blades – including Jack Cotterell on drums. Classic jazz from the 20s, 30s and 40s plus some rags, stomps and blues. Doors open at 7.30pm. Neighbourhood Watch: St John View Boston Spa - Between 8.45-8.50am February 17 Two youths aged 14 and 15yrs from a nearby school are suspected of causing damage to the rear windscreen of a motor vehicle parked in the driveway of private house. Enquiries are continuing. High Street Boston Spa - Overnight February 17/18, Offenders take Insignia badge from the front of BMW motor vehicle parked at the roadside. No one was seen at the time. Church Mews Boston Spa - Between February 1 and 19, Offenders take lead flashing from the roof of garage building. The offenders make off unseen. Moor Side Boston Spa - Between midnight February 22 and 6am February 23 An attempt was made to gain entry to a detached house by forcing the lock to a side door. The lock held and no entry was gained. No one was seen at the time.
