Police are appealing for witnesses after a BMW and a Ford Transit van crashed on Skipton Road early this morning (Monday, April 11).
The vehicles crashed at the traffic lights on Skipton Road, near the Claro Road junction, just after 6am.
The black 320 BMW Estate span into the middle of the road but the 47-year-old male driver escaped the crash with no injuries.
An ambulance attended the incident to check over the 47-year-old driver of the red Ford Transit van who suffered an arm injury in the crash.
However, paramedics confirmed the arm injury was only 'minor' and the driver was taken to hospital for further examination.
Officers managed to allow morning commuters to pass through the scene as they cleared the scene with the road fully reopened at around 8am.
