Cinema night: the showing of Mamma Mia will take place on Saturday in Bardsey Village Hall. Dress up, dance and singalong to you favourite Abba songs with bar and usual cinema treat. Ripon Cathedral Christmas fair: takes place on Saturday from 10am-4.30pm. There are 100 stalls including gifts for all the family, food and wine tasting, home made Christmas cakes, tombola Santa’s Grotto, face painting, raffle and children’s activities. Refreshments including hot turkey sandwiches, tea, coffee, mulled wine, cakes and mince pies. Entry is £2.50, children accompanied by an adult will be go free. This is always a lovely start to the festive season. Why not park in the car park at Harewood Village Hall, put your £1 in the honesty box, and travel in comfort and admire the scenery on the No. 36 bus, which runs every 15 minutes.
All Hallows: the 8am and 10.30am Holy Communion will be led once again by the Rev Chris Puckrin. All welcome.
Bardsey Wives coffee evening: they meet on Monday evening at 8pm at the home of Linda Flockton. The conversation as usual will be interesting. For more information ring Linda on 574553.
Diary Date: East Keswick Flower Club – Their Christmas flower demonstration will be presented by Andrew Grisewood with the title Festive Magic. If any non flower club member would like to go along to the demonstration which takes place in East Keswick Village Hall on November 28, when the doors will open at 6.15pm.
