Harrogate Town will play the Leeds United first team in a pre-season friendly at the CNG Stadium on Friday (kick-off: 7.30pm).
National League North side Town are expecting a strong crowd to turn up to see the clash with the Championship club.
Leeds United and Scotland legend Gary McAllister - who was this week will officially open Town’s new Wetherby Road stand at 7pm.
Leeds manager Uwe Rösler will bring his first team, and chairman Massimo Cellino could make an appearance at the CNG Stadium.
St Michael’s Hospice, the club’s charity for this season will be collecting.
Harrogate Town’s Managing Director Garry Plant said: “There is real excitement around the club ahead of Friday.
“We have Gary McAllister opening the new stand, and a host of new sponsors on board. We are expecting a big crowd, possibly 3,500.
“And who knows - Mr Cellino might even turn up!”
