Visitors will be able to see behind the garden gates at an event aimed to grow funds for a Wetherby cause.
The town’s methodist church will hold its open garden event on July 15, from 1-5pm at a variety of sites in the town.
Fundraising Coordinator for Wetherby Methodist Church Andrew Marshall said: “There is nothing so pleasant as wandering through an English garden in mid-July whether it is your own or someone else’s.
“Wetherby Methodist Church members have a long history of opening their gardens to public view from time to time and this year five gardens are open.
“There is nothing in common about these gardens, at least, if there is it is purely coincidental. You will see a variety of styles, plant populations and philosophy.”
Tickets are £3.50 each which includes all the gardens, children free. The proceeds for the event will contribute towards the Wetherby Methodist Church Reaching Out Development Fund.
Tickets, including a map, are on sale from Church members, the Saturday or Wednesday Coffee Shops, or at any of the gardens on the day.
