There are still four awards available for sponsorship – Apprentice of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Digital and Technological Development Award, and Best Large Company (over 50 employees) – and Debi Ferriday, director of Impression Recruitment, says that joining the list of supporters would be “definitely worthwhile”.

Hide AdImpression Recruitment recently became the awards’ newest supporter, when it sponsored the Best Newcomer award.
“The awards are a very important thing for the business community in the district, and as a business that itself is only two years old, the Best Newcomer category could not be more appropriate,” said Ms Ferriday.
“If any business out there is thinking of sponsoring one of the remaining categories, I’d say go for it – it’s definitely worthwhile. We take every opportunity to support independent brands – that’s what it’s all about for us – and the awards do just that. They give a real boost to the area, and sponsoring them can give your business a real boost too.”
