Ripon firm toasts 20 years in business

Ripon Interiors was launched in 2001 when Graeme Borchard and Peter Gregg joined Andrew Boddy at RBS Interiors, whose local reputation he had already established, and renamed the company.

Mr Borchard said: “We’re delighted to be celebrating our 20th anniversary and we’ll be sharing the celebration later this year with a planned Family Fun Day for our team and our suppliers.”

The directors are now gearing the firm for further growth as the country emerges from lockdown.

Mr Borchard added: “We have seen Covid and numerous lockdowns biting and make no mistake, the last 12 months have hit us hard, but we have adapted to the market and developed our business model to suit, working remotely with our customers wherever possible.

“The fact that we have been able to continue planning and designing interiors for our customers using state of the art 3D technology throughout the lockdowns, has meant that we are coming out of this period, just as strong, if not stronger and the future looks positive.”
