Last week, the deadline for entries was extended, so it will now fall at noon this Monday, March 20.

Jean MacQuarrie, editor of the Harrogate Advertiser series, said: “We extended the deadline by a week and we’re glad we did, as we’ve seen a late surge in numbers of contenders, just as we anticipated.

“The judges will be getting down to the business of sifting through all the entries next week, and I’m sure there’ll be some superb ones, as usual.”
