Top comic Chowdry at Harrogate Theatre

Brutally honest stand up comic Paul Chowdhry promises a night of humorous, insightful humour a Harrogate Theatre next Tuesday, October 30.

Last year saw Chowdry headlining Channel 4’s prime-time stand-up show, Stand Up For The Week and embarking on a second sell out UK tour.

Paul is back on the road this autumn touring the UK with his brand new show What’s Happening White People?’

Critically acclaimed as the UK’s No.1 Asian comedian with approximately 3million youtube hits, Paul Chowdhry has distinguished himself as one of the most talented and popular comedians to have recently emerged.

Inspired by legends such as the late Richard Prior, George Carlin and Sam Kinison, Paul is one of the few comics with the ability and diversity to effortlessly straddle the urban and main stand-up circuits as an international headline act - with his highly charged dry observational humour tapping into the multicultural diversity of contemporary Britain.

The autumn 2012 tour also includes one night at the Hammersmith Apollo on 22nd September where Paul will be recording his debut stand-up DVD (titled, What’s Happening White People?), set for release by Universal Pictures (UK) on Monday, November, 19.

Paul will also be one of the UK’s top comics to perform on the ninth series of Live At The Apollo on BBC 1 next month and will also star in the new Sky Atlantic panel show hosted by Jack Dee, Don’t Sit In The Front Row.
