Harrogate Theatre’s programme has gone from strength to strength in recent years but there’s a particular couple of crackers coming up.
Eric and Little Ern recreates some of the finest moments of legendary comedy duo Morecambe and Wise’s television and stage performances.
Presented by Seabright Productions, the show was created by, and stars Ian Ashpitel and Jonty Stephens.
Among the classic comic sketches faithfully brought to life are original Grieg Piano Concerto sketch and Eric’s take on Shakespeare.
Playing at Harrogate Theatre next Monday, November 10, Eric and Little Ern was a big hit at last year’s Edinburgh Fringe.
Another great show coming to Harrogate hot from Edinburgh is also a comedy, though of a far darker hue.
Written by former Doctor Who star Tom Baker, The Boy Who Kicked Pigs blends the humour of The League of Gentlemen with a splash of Hammer horror and the style of 1920s German Expressionist movies.
Presented by Kill the Beast, this acclaimed production utilises a cast of four, beautiful projection and original music in bringing the tale of teenage murder.
