The very name alone speaks of ambition - White Noise Studios of Harrogate are launching with an exclusive music party on Saturday, March 29.
Named after a 1969 album by electronic music pioneer Delia Derbyshire, this handbuilt labour of love will be baptized by a live show by ex-Harrogate duo Pony & Trap who were recently picked up by a major agency in London after winning the Marshall award for best live music performance at the National Music Student Awards in 2013.
Though boasting state of the art, digital recording equipment, among many other facilities in its 1,250sq ft space, the studio has been built as a real labour of lovebylocal people.
Even the doors required a bit of dedication – being mega-heavy decommissioned BBC studio doors which the White Noise team - Harrogate man Mark Williams and a group of musicians from top local indie dance rock band Wayside - tracked down in Wigan.
