A brilliant indie group who recently worked with Grandaddy are playing an exclusive show at Mad Hatters in Ripon shortly courtesy of local promoters DMB.

Brighton-based White Star Liners’ new album Tne Years That Slid features guest vocals from Grandaddy lead singer Jason Lytle. They got on so well, they were asked to support the US cult band on tour recently.

The four-piece group play Mad Hatters on Saturday, November 3 two days before the release of the album through Proper Records/Numbsull HQ.

Formed by childhood friends Jim Duncan and James Harvey, White Star Liners create confident, panoramic guitar pop in the vague vein of The Eels and Blur.

They will be supported by Ripon band Flat 69. Tickets are available on 07739 720732.
