One of the Harrogate area’s finest bands plays a special headlining gig this weekend.
Dragonfly Tattoo, featuring vocalist and pianist Vicky Whelan, will be playing new songs as well as tracks from their acclaimed EP, Songs of Love and Murder.
Appearing at Seven Arts in Chapel Allerton in Leeds, this Saturday night, the band recently played Grassington Festival.
The band have climbed rapidly since their debut release earlier in the year whose sleeve featured a shot by Harrogate-based fine art photographer Anna Lilleengen. With songs written by singer and pianist Vicky Whelan, their music is awash in jazzy brushes and dark atmosphere with hints of classicism and the influence of PJ Harvey.
