Arcimboldo’s, the popular delicatessen on King’s Road in Harrogate, is gearing up for Christmas with a range of tempting festive treats.
First opened 20 years ago by three friends passionate about food, it very soon gained a reputation for quality and consequently won several “delicatessen of the year” awards.
Small but perfectly formed, it hasn’t looked back since then, offering not only the expected ‘deli’ fayre but also traiteur (ready to eat/re-heat) dishes, suitable for dinner parties.
Owner and chef Martyn Robinson said: “ We’ve really scoured around for some particularly exciting produce this festive season. We’ve got some wonderful panettone which look gorgeous - Italian retro Christmas design – but taste gorgeous, too. ”
It’s no surprise that cheese and mince pies play a big part at Christmas in Arcimboldo’s, too.
But what’s always been most important to Arcimboldo’s is quality.
“People want food that has that home-made quality and goodness. We supply care and attention, making things the traditional way slowly, using top quality ingredients.”
Arcimboldo’s is located at 146 King’s Road, Harrogate.
