NORTH Yorkshire Planning Committee will visit Tockwith on Tuesday next week to view for themselves the site of a proposed waste treatment plant to incinerate landfill.
But Tockwith villagers, who are vehemently opposed to BCB Environmental's plans for the gasification plant - which, if approved, would be one of the first of its kind to treat waste in the UK, are planning a protest outside BCB's facilities on the Marston Moor Business Park.
