WETHERBY will have a Marks & Spencer Simply Food store for the foreseeable future despite rumours it was about to close.
Concerned residents contacted the Wetherby News after hearing the company could be planning to withdraw from its Cattle Market location off Horsefair.

But a spokeswoman for the company said Simply Food in Wetherby was set to stay.

She said: “Marks and Spencer has no plans to pull out of Wetherby.

“It will continue to trade as normal for the benefit of residents in the town.”
