TADCASTER East Community Primary School is looking for volunteers to join HOPE 08 at the school tomorrow, Saturday, from 9am to 5pm.
Hope 2008 is an initiative of the churches of Britain and Ireland which aims to demonstrate the meaning of the Christian faith in villages, towns and cities throughout the UK.

Oz and Helen Hardwick of the Tadcaster Salvation Army have organised a HOPE 08 team of volunteers from the community who will give an hour or more of their time to complete various tasks at the school. Tasks will be 'odd jobs' that are either not feasible during school hours or affordable on the schools budget and will include weeding, sweeping, re-covering of books, general tidying up, building flat-packs and simple painting jobs etc.

Any further volunteers are more than welcome and an hour could make a great deal of difference to the school, tasks will be allocated so call Oz or Helen on 01937 831091 for more details.
