A TADCASTER post office, which closed temporarily in May, will reopen in December.
Healaugh Post Office was forced to close due to the resignation of the subpostmaster but postal services will be restored when the branch reopens on Tuesday, December 16.
Field Change Adviser Bill Earnshaw said: "We apologise for the inconvenience this temporary closure has undoubtedly caused.
"But I'm sure the local community will be delighted that Post Office services will soon be available again in the area."
Opening hours will be: Monday and Tuesday 10am to 12.00pm and on Thursday 9am to 11.00am.
