SCOTTON Cricket Club is looking to strengthen and expand its playing squad ahead of the new Nidderdale League season which begins in April.

The club fields two senior teams in the league, playing 45 overs per match and a Wednesday team which plays Twenty20 cricket in the Harrogate Evening League.

Offering a competitive standard, the club also provides opportunities for old and new players to participate within the teams.

Youngers players can receive coaching from ECB-qualified coaches, and indoor nets begin in February on Sundays at Boroughbridge Sports Centre.

The sessions are an ideal chance for players to meet one another and officials, as well as a major opportunity to hone skills.

Scotton have also improved facilities off the pitch ahead of the new campaign, with a new bar and lounge area added, available to hire for private functions.

Members can also join the fundraising 100 Club, a members lottery draw with cash prizes every month.

To learn more about joining Scotton CC, young must be aged 13 or over, although there is no upper age limit.
