RIPLEY Aussie Jase Wylie is looking forward to locking horns with the cream of the Nidderdale League next Sunday for the forthcoming Ingilby Shield clash.

The Frankston Peninsula batsman will captain the Overseas XI which will be made up of Australian and other foreign imports dotted around clubs in the league.

A full squad list will be revealed next week.

“I’m sure it is going to be a good fun challenge for me and the overseas boys hopefully we can get another win like last year,” he said.

“The hardest task for me at the moment is probably going to be giving everyone a chance to do soothing in the game, everyone wants that opportunity and hopefully I can provide that for them.”

This year’s game will again take place at Ripley CC and will start at 2pm.

There will be entertainment, a barbecue and free parking for spectators.
