Youngsters enter inaugural tournament

THREE netball clubs in the area took the initiative and trailed a Junior league in Harrogate.
Hilites, Ripon Rockets and Phoenix entered the league and had a tournament for the U-12s resulting in Phoenix 1 coming first, Ripon Rockets second and Hilites third.
The tournament was supported by HDNL who funded the courts, and provided umpires and mentors for the afternoon.
The afternoon was a big success, enjoyed by all the girls, giving them the opportunity to play competative netball in the area.
The second tournament is to take place on Sunday December 11 where the U-14s from the same clubs will play.
