Harrogate RUFC U-14s won their own war of the Roses at the weekend.

A brilliant tour for the squad at the recent Lancashire tour weekend, began with the side beating Liverpool St Helens 68-12 on the Saturday.

Harrogate then faced Lancashire Cup semi finalists Wigan on the Sunday who had enjoyed an unbeaten run of nine games before then.

However the final score was a convincing 92-0 rout for Harrogate.

The boys produced some great individual performances.

In total there were 10 tries for Fearn, six for Considine, and the forwards dominated the scrum in both games.

Overall, it was an outstanding performance from the whole squad both on and off the field.

Thanks from the team go all the parents and sponsors for the tour.

Harrogate now looking to finish the season in style at the Harrogate RUFC festival on April 21.

Meantime HARROGATE U-16s were narrowly beaten 5-6 by Huddersfield. The only try of the game came before half-time, from winger Wyatt who went over in the corner
