Date set for Whitworth Cup final

THE Whitworth Cup final, between Boroughbridge and Ripon City, will be played on Wednesday, April 4 at Harrogate Town FC.

It promises to be a cracking contest between the two local rivals.

City are currently up there challenging for the West Yorkshire League title after a superb domestic campaign.

Cup kings ‘Bridge, however, are eyeing two trophies this term.

On April 10 they will travel to Manse Lane to play all-conquering Bardsey in the semi-final of the League Cup.
