Tadcaster Albion made it 20 games unbeaten in the NCEL Premier as Carl Stewart’s double saw off rivals Pickering Town 4-0.

Stewart bagged the opener before captain Nick Thompson scored the second.

The in-form striker picked up his brace after half-time before James Coupland added the fourth late on.

The league leaders reached their halfway stage in the season on 47 points. They lie five points ahead of second-placed Thackley but the Dennyboys have four games in hand.

Favourites Brighouse Town, fifth, have seven games spare, and are 12 points behind.
