New Harrogate Railway manager Billy Miller can’t wait to get this teeth into his new Station View position.
Miller is joined by former Rail’ goalkeeper Lee Ashforth after the pair left Northern Counties Premier side Liversedge.
Speaking to the Advertiser, the new chief is already plotting success for the club, but understands how difficult a task he faces.
“I can’t wait to get started,” he said.
“You look at the likes of Harrogate Town, us and Knaresborough Town, I think it can be a real hot bed of football in this area.
“It’s a sleeping giant, you look around the place, the pitch, the junior set up, the new facilities, they’re all excellent.
“The Evo-Stik is a tough league, we know that. But we think it’s going to be great season. We just hope the fans get behind us, give us a chance and come down.
“The club needed to stay in the league, they’ve done that, now we want progress, stabilise the side and push on in the future.”
