BARDSEY FC were celebrating last night after winning the West Yorkshire League Cup 3-2 on penalties, after a 1-1 draw with Fields after extra-time.
It was a superb end to the season for the Keswick Lane side who saw their title go the way of Beeston’s a day earlier.
After going into the break 1-0 down, Mick Mills levelled for Lee Barraclough’s side on 61 minutes.
Both teams went for the win but ultimately it was decided by spot kicks.
Robert Dickinson missed his kick for Baz’s troops. But goals by Mick Mills, Dave Thurlow and Jamie Thompson won them the cup.
