Spartans celebrate their super season in style at Awards Night

BOSTON Spartans celebrated a fine season during a presentation night at the Crown Hotel in Boston Spa on Saturday.
Andrew Kitchen scooped the Players’ Player of Year for the first team with the same player taking the Manager’s Player of Year.

Man of the Match was Chris Plews, Top Goal scorer Nathan Christopher and Club Man Chris Sissons.

In the Reserve Team Jez Storey won the Players’ Player of Year and the Manager’s Player of Year.

In the Over 35s section Storey made it a hat-trick of wins by winning the Players Player of Year, Manager’s Player of Year was Ian Plunkett and Club Man Charles Robinson.

The side are now preparing for the 2008/09 campaign and will be holding their AGM tomorrow at 1.30pm at the Crown Hotel, Boston Spa.

CLARO League Division One and League Challenge Cup winners FC Boston will be starting pre season training on Sunday July 20.

All existing and new players are welcome to attend.

The Reserve side who finished third in Division Two last year are also on the look-out for a new manager.
