Festival-goers can watch this year's Great British Bake Off winner Nadiya Hussain whip-up Christmas showstoppers in the Cake & Bake Theatre and get inspiration from Yorkshire's acclaimed chefs cooking live in the Chefs Theatre.

And you could be there!

Each VIP ticket includes express entry to the festival, a welcome glass of bubbly, use of the VIP area with private bar and refreshments, priority entry to food and drink masterclasses, a showguide and a goody bag.

Just answer the following question: What did Great British Bake Off winner Nadiya bake in the final showstopper challenge?

a) a Victoria sponge cake

b) a chocolate peacock centre piece

c) a custard tart

Email your answer a, b or c with your name and full contact details to news@nidderdaleherald.co.uk by noon on Tuesday, December 8 to be in with a chance of winning one pair of VIP tickets.

Good luck!

Other features of the festival include an Artisan Christmas Market with over 150 producers; a Pudding Hall filled with festive favourites; a Drinks Theatre with wine, champagne and gin masterclasses; a Street Food Village with flavours from around the world; an Elf Cookery School with gingerbread decorating classes for little foodies; and live music and entertainment throughout the day. Nadiya said: "I am so excited to be taking part in Foodies Festival Christmas next weekend. I will be baking some of my favourite festive bakes which the audience will be able to recreate at home and wow their friends and family with. I am also looking forward to visiting the artisan market and tasting festive street food."

Festival founder Sue Hitchen said: "We had a great time in Harrogate with our summer festival, so we are delighted to be back, this time with our Christmas jumpers on. We've got lots of foodie festivities planned and we can't wait to watch Nadiya in the Cake & Bake Theatre and get a slice, or two, of her cake."
