Woman attacked
A WITNESS appeal has been launched after a Sherburn-in-Elmet woman was allegedly punched in the face and pushed in front of a moving car.
The incident happened outside the Red Bear public house on Low Street between 4.30pm and 5.15pm on March 19. The driver of a black Ford Focus had to brake suddenly to avoid hitting the 34-year-old woman.
The attacker, described as white, late 30s, thin, with short dark brown hair, continued the assault after the woman had picked herself up. She later received hospital treatment.
