JACK Dee’s sold-out Harrogate show tomorrow night has been cancelled.

The comic has been forced to pull out of both his Harrogate and Stockton gigs this week, due to a family emergency.

“Stockton & Harrogate gigs cancelled,” Dee posted on his Twitter page in the past hour.

“Due to a family emergency I’m very sorry to have to say that these shows will not be happening.”

Kevin Jamieson from Harrogate Theatre said those with tickets would be refunded and receive priority booking for a rescheduled date.

“We are in the midst of informing everyone with tickets of what has happened and giving them a refund,” he said.

“This is really a postponement – Jack will be doing the gig at some point and those people will get priority on the new date, being able to buy tickets ahead of general sale.

“It’s really disappointing, but obviously our thoughts are with Jack and we hope everything is OK.”
