Rising football stars kick off foster carers appeal

Three rising stars from the Leeds United squad have joined with the Children’s Family Trust to kick off a new drive for more foster carers in the area.

Dominic Poleon, Sam Byram and Paul Green highlighted the need by lending their support to the work of charity and independent fostering agency, The Children’s Family Trust.

Catherine Boaler, Supervising Social Worker for the Trust in Yorkshire said: “We are holding a series of informal open evenings so that people who might be interested can come along and find out what fostering entails.”

The Trust will be holding an information session in Wetherby Town Hall on Wednesday October 17 at 10am-1pm and 5.30-7.30pm or phone 01924 566330.
