YOUNGSTERS at Sicklinghall Primary put their PJs on to help a sick tot.
Pupils paid to turn up to school in their pyjamas last Wednesday and raised £90 for the Sadie Rose appeal.
A school spokesman said: “The two School Ambassadors, Nicholas Taylor and Kirsty Tennant recently attended a meeting of their neighbouring cluster of village schools at Goldsborough and heard about the plight of Sadie Rose and her need for treatment in America.
“All the School Ambassadors from the participating schools then decided to organise a fund-raising event for Sadie Rose on February 8.
“Ideas discussed varied and included sponsored walks, non-uniform days and cake sales.”
Sicklinghall School chose to stay in their PJ’s.
Additionally the Parent, Teacher and Friends Association (PTFA) has agreed to donate all proceeds from the bun sale on February 10 to the appeal.
Sadie Rose is currently undergoing treatment in the USA for neuroblastoma cancer.
