Legacy of rail tracks lives on

The old rail bed on Harland Way in Wetherby as featured in the Diamond Jubilee calendar.

The old railways have left us a picturesque legacy of bridleways and cycle tracks around Wetherby.

This photograph, above, is of the Harland Way during the snow of last year.

It is one of the attractive pictures used to illustrate the Jubilee calendar which is on sale at the reduced price of £4 at the Wetherby News office and at Castlegate Stationers.

The calendar also contains the programme for the Jubilee celebrations.
