Fitness suite opens at charity pool

a leading Tadcaster charity is helping people get fit after funding a brand new facility.
Tadcaster Swimming Pool has opened in the New Year with brand new equipment in the Fitness Suite.
“We are all really excited about working with the new equipment,” said Fitness Manager Darren Brown.
“Our clients have returned after Christmas to a brand new gym.
“The equipment is designed for any ability or age to use and we want to encourage as many people in Tadcaster and the surrounding area to come and have a look.”
During the annual maintenance closure before Christmas the Fitness Suite was re-painted and the new equipment was installed.
“The equipment is a mixture of cardio vascular and resistance equipment including an adaptive motion trainer and a functional glide,” added Darren.
“Both pieces of equipment are the latest designs in the fitness industry and provide an overall body workout.”
During the maintenance closure of the pool improvements were also carried out to the changing facilities.
New spot lights were installed and shower cubicles were replaced and re-grouting carried out in the shower areas.
The pool has also launched a new Direct Debit scheme which offers great value Swim and Fitness offers for a simple monthly payment. It also continues to offer a pay as you go price so everyone can use the facility.
Run by a Trust, Tadcaster Pool relies on grants and fundraising to fund such improvements and repairs.
