Bingo Night: Due to the bad weather the bingo night in aid of Dacre Banks Cricket Club, to be held at the Royal Oak last Sunday was postponed until this Sunday, February 28. Starting at 8pm. Prizes for a line and a full house, also Pie & Pea supper.
Nidderdale Safer Neighbourhood Group: The next meeting is on Wednesday, March 3 at Pateley Bridge Council Offices, at 7.30pm. This is the AGM, which will be followed by our usual meeting format. Queries and any apologies to Ann Kent 01423 780495.
Women's World Day of Prayer: Friday, March 5 at 7.30pm in the Methodist Church. Over 3m people world wide will be praying together during the day. The wave of prayer starts in Tonga and ends in neighbouring Western Samoa, having passed through many countries, following the sun. This year the interdenominational service has been prepared by Christian Women of Cameroon in West Africa. All are welcome to attend. It is a day of prayer for everyone, not just women.
Darley in Bloom: Flower Power hits Darley in Bloom with Back to the 60's. Saturday, March 20 at 7.30pm in Darley Memorial Hall. Dance to The Cobwebs - They'll blow you away! 60's gear optional. 16 including a hot 60s supper and bar. For tickets contact Yvonne (780863) or Paula (781891).

Eckankar Meeting: "The Glory of Hu---God's Ancient Name" will be discussed at an Eckankar public meeting on Thursday, March 11, at 6.30pm at Dacre and Hartwith Village Hall. Eckankar, the Religion of the Light and Sound of God, shares varied spiritual exercises which catalyse individual experiences with the inner light and sound.
