Burglars strike in Wetherby area

Wetherby police said they are investigating burglaries in the Wetherby district this week and are appealing for help from witnesses.
* A flat screen TV worth £350 was stolen from a house overnight last Thursday, February 9 during the day.
The thieves are believed to have entered through a back ground window at Green Court in Scholes. The owners are believed to have been out at the time.
* Window frames were damaged and around £200 of cash stolen after intruders broke into Le Bon Appetit on Bank Street.
Thieves are believed to have forced entry through a back window and caused damage to wooden window frames at the property sometime overnight between Tuesday and Wednesday last week.
* Around £100 worth of damage was done to a back kitchen door at a house on Bramham Road in Clifford.
The intruders are believed to have tried to force entry to the house but are believed to have been disturbed before breaking in between last Monday and Tuesday, February 6 and 7.
