A1M delays

The A1M northbound near Wetherby has been closed because of an accident between junctions 47 and 48 this morning.

Highways Agency officials warn of heavy disruption and delays of over 30 minutes.

The road is expected to re-open from 10am.

And on the A1 southbound between the junctions with the A66 and the A684, there are currently delays of 15 minutes caused by congestion due to an earlier incident.

Normal traffic conditions expected from 9.30am.

Traffic is heavier than normal in Wetherby.
