Tractor Fest is returning for 2014, and organisers need the help of local schoolchildren in designing a logo for the festival.

The festival will be held at Newby Hall and Gardens between the 7-8 June.

Event organisers have launched a competition for children to design the ‘Tractor Fest 2014’ logo and win a family trip to the two-day event.

The competition is open to all primary schools across North Yorkshire.

Logo designs need to be bright and colourful, measure no more than a side of A4 paper and feature the words ‘Tractor Fest 2014’.

All competition entries should be emailed to sales@newbyhall.com. The competition deadline is 18 April.

The weekend will showcase hundreds of tractors, cars, lorries, stationary engines and motorcycles

Tractor Fest 2014 will also feature vintage tractor pulling, free tractor and trailer rides, interactive exhibits, working machinery, food outlets and trade stands.

It’s the ninth Tractor Fest this year.

It is organised by the Yorkshire Vintage Association and attracts thousands of exhibitors and visitors

The event will run from 10am-5pm - £9.50 adults, £8.50 seniors, £7.50 children (includes entry to the garden and adventure garden).
