Tockwith Church Services: Sunday, September 16, 9am Breakfast Club, 11am Holy Communion, 6pm Evening Prayer (1662).

Entertainment Evening: at Tockwith Village Hall on Saturday, September 15. Licensed bar from 7pm with the performance starting at 7.30pm. An evening packed full of the best of instrumental and vocal music and comedy sketches from some old favourites and never-before-seen local acts. Breakfast Club: All children and young people are welcome to join Breakfast Club which meets once a month. The next one is on Sunday, September 16 at 9am. Bring a friend and meet new ones. First steps on the internet: The Workers Educational Association are running a course to help you become more confident about using the internet. The course is at Tockwith Village Hall on Wednesdays, 2-4pm for six weeks starting on Wednesday, September 19. The fees per learner are £37.50 for the course but, for those who qualify, reduced fees are available. To book a place ring Helen Widdowson on 01904 671899.

Tockwith Juniors Football Club: are recruiting for their successful family friendly football club. They are looking for girls in Year 5 and 6 to join their new Under 11s football team. Training is at 6.30pm on Friday nights at Tockwith sports field. If your child wants to join in for the season the subscription will include a club hoody and playing kit. Come along and give it a try - make new friends, have fun and learn the skills of football taught to you by FA coaches.
