Tockwith Church services: Sunday, August 18. Holy Communion at 11am. Evening Prayer (1662) at 6pm.
Yorkshire Medieval Festival: at St Helen’s Church, Bilton in Ainsty on Sunday, August 11 the church is open for viewing 2-4pm. On Friday, August 16 11am-3pm, Dr Chris Tuckley will be in attendance to discuss the architectural features in the church. Tockwith Under 5s summer opening: this year Tockwith Under 5s will be opening on two mornings during the summer holidays. The sessions will run at the usual time from 9.30-11.30am in the village hall. To help fund these extra sessions we will be selling coffee and cakes and all members of the family are welcome – older siblings too! The price will be as normal £1.50 for babies and £3 for a family of three. Summer dates: Tuesday, August 6 and Tuuesday, September 3.
The Spotted Ox: open mic sessions every first Wednesday of the month at 8pm with Arnold of The Raisers. Quiz nights every first Monday of the month starting at about 8.30pm. Contact The Spotted Ox – 01423 358387.

Ainsty Conservation Society: ACS is a local organisation dedicated to nature conservation and is a registered charity. Workdays are on the morning of the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. Tockwith with Wilstrop Parish Council: the parish council meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month. Meetings are not normally held in August or December.
